?BEIJING, Dec.26 (Xinhuanet) -- Janet Jackson's "Unbreakable" world tour is on hold so the singer can have surgery.

The five-time Grammy Award winner has made the announcement through Facebook.

Jackson says every show will be rescheduled, telling fans to hold on to their tickets.

She hasn't said what type of surgery she's having.

The 2016 leg of the tour had been scheduled to start in Denver on January 9th and continue until the end of June.

The 49-year old Jackson released "Unbreakable," her 11th album, earlier this year.
