娱乐英语新闻:American country singer Craig Strickland found dead

BEIJING, Jan. 5 (Xinhuanet) -- American country singer Craig Strickland, 29, was found dead after missing for more than a week, according to the latest media reports.

Strickland and his friend Chase Morland, 22, embarked on a duck hunting trip on Dec. 26, 2015.

A day later, both were reported missing in the middle of a storm at Kaw Lake in Kay County, Oklahoma.

The body of Morland was discovered last week while the search for Strickland continued until he was found dead.

Strickland is the lead singer of the Arkansas-based country-rock band Backroad Anthem.
