国内英语新闻:Chinese premier sends condolences to Russian counterpart over plane crash
BEIJING, March 19 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Premier Li Keqiang extended condolences on Saturday to his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev over the air crash in southern Russia that killed over 50 Russian citizens earlier in the day.
In the message, Li expressed his deep condolences to the Russian victims and all other people aboard the plane which crashed in Rostov-on-Don, the largest city in the south of Russia. Li also expressed his sincere sympathy to the bereaved families.
Earlier in the day, a Boeing 737-800 passenger plane, of the Dubai Aviation Corporation, en route from Dubai of the United Arab Emirates to Rostov-on-Don, crashed at the city airport of Rostov-on-Don, killing all 62 people onboard, including 55 passengers and seven crew members.
