国内英语新闻:Chinese president sends condolences to Turkish counterpart over terror attack

BEIJING, Dec. 14 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a message of condolences to his Turkish counterpart Tayyip Erdogan on Tuesday over the deadly blasts which took place on Dec. 10 in Istanbul.
In the message, Xi expressed his sincere sympathy to the Turkish president, the families of the victims and the injured of the blast.
The Chinese leader stressed that China strongly condemns the terrorist attack and resolutely opposes all forms of terrorism, adding that China is willing to work with Turkey and the international community to jointly cope with the terrorist threats.
The twin bombing attacks which hit Istanbul Saturday night killed 38 people and injured many others.
