体坛英语新闻:Guardiola celebrates Messi's 10th anniversary
MADRID, Sept. 18 (Xinhua) -- FC Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola this Saturday celebrated the 10th anniversary of Leo Messi as a Barcelona player.
The 23-year-old arrived to form part of the FC Barcelona youth system 10 years ago and the player who began his Barca career as a 13-year-old, who was small for his age.
Messi has never grown to be very tall, but the Argentinean, who is just 1 meter 69 centimeters tall, is considered to be the best player in the World.
Guardiola insisted that he had done little to make Messi the player he is.

"I try to do the best so that he can get the best out of himself and so that the rest of the players are happy," he said during his Saturday press conference.
"Messi has helped us all to enjoy ourselves and I hope that he stays with us for anther 10 years," he said.
In the six years that Messi has been in the Barcelona first team squad, he has won four BBVA Primera Liga titles, the Copa del Rey, two Spanish Supercups, two Champions League titles, the European Supercup and the World Club Championship.
