体坛英语新闻：Top, bottom of Spanish basketball league table looks more clearly defined

MADRID, April 13 (Xinhua) -- The six remaining games in the Endesa ACB basketball league still have plenty of things to decide, but at the top and the bottom of the table, things are starting to look more clearly defined.

Regal Barcelona have opened up a two game lead over Real Madrid and will be expected to maintain it this weekend. Barcelona entertain an impressive Lagun Aro, who are fifth in the classification after an excellent second half to the campaign, while Real Madrid, who will be without Jaycee Carroll, who has just been released from hospital after suffering a stomach problem, are at home to Lucentum Alicante.

At the bottom of the table, Blanco's Rueda Valladolid look doomed to relegation, despite a rare win last weekend. They and Asefa Estudiantes are three wins adrift of safety, although Estudiantes to have a game in hand.

Blancos Rueda travel to sixth placed Gescrap Bizkaya, who are looking to cement their place in the end of season play offs, while Estudiantes, who have just signed the veteran Louis Bullock, are at home to Gran Canaria.

Third placed Caja Laboral, fresh from their win over Real Madrid last weekend, travel to face mid-table Manresa, while fourth placed Valencia travel to play Mac Croc Fuenlabrada. Fuenlabrada needs a win in order to avoid any late nerves at the end of the season.

CAI Zaragoza play away to CIA Joventut needing a win against a rival with little to play for to maintain hopes of a top-eight finish, while Unicaja Malaga are in a similar position when they face third from bottom UCAM Murcia.

Murcia have dragged themselves away from immediate danger in recent weeks, but still need a couple of wind before they can stop looking over their shoulders at Valladolid and Estudiantes.
