体坛英语新闻:Beach volleyball youth worlds concludes in Cyprus
LARNAKA, Cyprus, July 14 (Xinhua) -- The U19 Beach Volleyball Youth World Championships concluded in Cyprus' southeastern coastal city Larnaka, with Poland emerging the biggest winner which claimed three medals including men's gold and silver as well as women's silver.
The finals were held in Finikoudes Beach in Larnaka. Michal Bryl and Kacper Kujawiak defeated their compatriots Kukasz Kaczmarek and Sebastian Kaczmarek 2-1 in the men's final.
In the women's final, Leva Dubauskaite and Monika Povilaityte from Lithuania beat Katarzyna Kociolek and Karolina Baran from Poland 2-0. Russians took both the men's and women's bronze medals.
A total of 128 players from 36 countries and regions competed in the four-day event.
