MADRID, Sept. 2 (Xinhua) -- FC Barcelona are the only side with a 100 percent record after three games of the new season following their 1-0 win over Valencia on Sunday.

Adriano's stunning first half goal was enough to give Barca the points in a first half in which they created enough chances to have won by a hatful of goals.

However a combination of good goalkeeping from Diego Alves and some poor finishing, especially from Cesc Fabrigas, meant Barca failed to add to their tally and Valencia almost equalized in the closing moments when Victor Ruiz flashed a header over the bar from close range following a corner.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice before leaving the pitch injured as his Real Madrid enjoyed a comfortable 3-0 home win against Granada.

The result was Madrid's first win in La Liga this season and Gonzalo Higuain added the third goal in a match they dominated from start to finish.

However, Ronaldo had to leave the pitch after 64 minutes in obvious pain after suffering an apparent muscle injury in his left leg and will be a doubt for Portugal's forthcoming World Cup qualifying matches.

He also caused consternation after the game by saying he had not celebrated his goals because of an issue he had with 'some people at the club,' although he failed to give further details.

Athletic Club Bilbao kick-started their season with a 2-0 win at home to Valladolid, Aritz Aduriz and Markel Susaeta, with a spectacular curling shot, gave the Basque side their first points of the campaign.

Levante scored a late winner to defeat Espanyol 3-2. Espanyol defender Raul Rodriguez deflected a cross into his own net in injury time after Levante had fought back from 2-0 down.

Espanyol had looked to be cruising after Samuel Longo and Sergio Tejera had put them two up before the break.

However, Juanlu and Christian Lell drew Levante level early in the second period and Raul's late error gave them the points, which leave Espanyol with three straight defeats.

Sunday kicked off with a 0-0 draw between Rayo Vallecano and Sevilla, although Sevilla will think they should have had all three points after Alvaro Negredo and then Igor Rakitic both missed penalties.

Real Mallorca had moved temporarily to the top of the BBVA Primera Liga on goal difference on Saturday night with 1-0 win at home to Real Sociedad.

Victor Casadesus' 75th minute gave Joaquin Caparros' side a hard-fought win against Real Sociedad who paid for an overly defensive attitude and who have now gone 11 games without an away win.

Deportivo la Coruna remain unbeaten on their return to the Primera Liga thanks to a 1-1 draw at home to Getafe.

Deportivo opened the scoring through Riki after just six minutes ,but 20 minutes later in an entertaining match Getafe youngster Abdel Barrada leveled the scores.

Celta Vigo got the weekend under way with their first points of season thanks to a 2-0 home win against Osasuna.

Iago Aspes opened the scoring midway through the second half, while Mario Bermejo sealed the points in injury time. Celta were the better side and deserved the win against a rival that offered very little in attack and has lost their first three matches of the campaign.

Finally Ignacio Camacho completed a good week for Malaga. The side qualified for the lucrative group stage of the Champions League in midweek and celebrated on Saturday with a 1-0 win away to a Zaragoza side that has now lost both its home matches this season.
