体坛英语新闻:Real Madrid, Atletico, Barca all win in Spain's matchday 6
MADRID, Sept 30 (Xinhua) -- Real Madrid had few problems brushing past Deportivo la Coruna 5-1 to remain eight points behind FC Barcelona ahead of their trip to the Camp Nou Stadium on Sunday.
Although Riki put Deportivo ahead after 15 minutes, Real Madrid soon turned things around and Cristiano Ronaldo scored the first of two penalties he would put away in the match after 22 minutes following a foul on Angel De Maria.
De Maria scored his side's second goal after outpacing Deportivo full back Manuel Pablo and just before the break he set up Ronaldo to make it 3-1 after his shot rebounded to the Portuguese forward.
A Pepe header from a Xavi Alonso's free kick on 63 minutes made it 4-1 and Ronaldo's second penalty of the night eight minutes from time sealed the result.
Atletico Madrid also enjoyed a good win on Sunday night, Raul Garcia's first half goal gave them a 1-0 win to bottom of the table Espanyol and maintains Atletico's unbeaten run to keep them second in the table, behind FC Barcelona.
Saturday had seen Barca fight back from 2-0 down to win 3-2 win away to Sevilla Peter Trochowski and Alvaro Negredo had put the home side 2-0 up after 48 minutes, before Cesc Fabrigas scored his first league goal for nine months to get Barca into the game after 52 minutes.
Barca's task became much easier when Gary Medel was sent off for supposed head butt on Cesc.
Replays showed Medal may have moved towards Cesc, but that the Barca midfielder greatly exaggerated any light contact.
Cesc equalized with a neat finish in the last minute of normal time and Sevilla were further angered as the ball had touched Thiago Alcantara's hand. It was involuntary, but helped set up the goal.
Then David Villa sealed the points with a clinical finish in injury time to maintain Barca's 100 percent record ahead of the 'Classico.'
Granada won their first game of the season with a 2-1 triumph at home to Celta early on Sunday. Guillerme Siquiera opened the scoring with a penalty and Gabriel Torje doubled the lead before Iago Aspes gave Celta hope with a smart finish. All of the goals came in the first 20 minutes.
Valladolid recovered from conceding an early goal to hammer Rayo Vallecano 6-1.
Chori Dominguez put Rayo ahead on five minutes, but goals from Alvaro Bueno, Manucho, Oscar Gonzalez and Antonio Rukavina gave the home side a 4-1 lead by the break. Oscar made it 5-1 in the second half and Manucho rounded off the scoring when he netted his second just before the end.
Osasuna took their first three point haul this campaign in comprehensive style with all of the goals coming in the second half of their 4-0 win over Levante: Emiliano Armenteros opened the scoring on 55 minutes and the last three goals all came in the final 10 minutes, thanks to Lamah, Timor and Nino.
Malaga continued their unbeaten start to the season with a comfortable 4-0 win at home to Betis.
The result was never in doubt from the 13th minute after Betis keeper Casto was sent off for denying Malaga winger Eliseu as he bore down on goal.
Joaquin Sanchez rifled home the spot-kick and against 10 men, Javier Saviola doubled the home side's lead before the break with his third goal since joining the club.
An own goal from Ivan Amaya and a strike from Isco ended the rout.
Real Sociedad convincingly won the Basque derby 2-0 against Athletic Club de Bilbaoand but for an outstanding display from Athletic keeper, Gorka Iraizoz, Real Sociedad would have scored more than the second half efforts from Antoine Griezmann and a Carlos Vela penalty.
The weekend kicked off with Valencia taking a much needed win at home to Zaragoza. A first half goal from Sophaine Feghouli put Valencia on their way and although he was harshly sent off in the second half, Jonathan Viera had already assured the points.
