HOUSTON, Oct. 14 (Xinhua) -- The San Antonio Spurs beat the Houston Rockets 116-107 in a NBA preseason game Sunday.

Wesley Witherspoon scored 17 points for the Spurs, DeJuan Blair had 16 points, Danny Green added 15 points on 6 of 9 shooting, and Cory Joseph added 12 while Manu Ginobili 11.

Donatas Montiejunas led the Rockets with 16 points. Omer Asik added 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Rockets guard Jeremy struggled to make one of 10 shots, scoring four points with one assist.

"I'm just trying to find my rhythm, find my comfort level again," Lin said.

"I'm just happy it's a preseason game, to be honest. I can't live with this in season. I have a lot to learn. I will make sure I learn from this," he said.

The Rockets held out starters Patrick Patterson and Kevin Martin on Sunday, with both expected to play Monday at Dallas.
