SAO PAULO, Dec. 11 (Xinhua) -- Brazil's Paris Saint Germain-bound midfielder Lucas Moura has revealed his personal ambition to win FIFA's Ballon d'Or awarded to the world's best player.

The 20-year-old will join the French outfit in January after his Brazilian club Sao Paulo agreed to a 43-million-euro transfer fee in August.

"It's one of my biggest goals to be considered the best in the world," Lucas said on Tuesday, adding he was anxious to learn as much as possible from stars such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic and his national teammate Thiago Silva.

"I know there is still a long way to go but my move to Paris Saint Germain is the first step towards reaching my objective. I'm going to be surrounded by great players. I'm going to mature and continue to keep improving. The club is putting together a strong team and I can't wait to be a part of it."

Lucas will play his final match for Sao Paulo in front of the club's home fans in Wednesday's second-leg of the Copa Sudamericana final against Argentina's Tigre.

Having secured a goalless away draw in the first leg, the Brazilian club needs only a 1-0 victory to win the continent's second most prestigious trophy after the Copa Libertadores.

"It will be a great feeling of accomplishment if we can win this final, like a gift to the fans," he said.

"No amount of money can buy a title. I'll only leave with a sense of accomplishment if I win."

The starlet, who has already won 22 international caps for Brazil and scored three goals, was reduced to tears as he explained the importance of leaving Sao Paulo on a winning note.

"This match is something I have been dreaming about since the moment I arrived at the club," Moura said. "My goal here has always been to reach a final and be a champion with Sao Paulo. Now I have the opportunity and I don't want to let it slip."
