MADRID, Feb. 9 (Xinhua) -- Real Madrid warmed up for Wednesday' s Champions League match at home to Manchester United with a comfortable win at home to a conformist Sevilla.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored a hat-trick after Karim Benzema had opened the scoring for Madrid after the ball fell kindly to him following a Ronaldo cross from the left.

Malaga' s excellent season continued with a 2-1 win away to Levante who had taken the lead with a 27th minute Jose Barquero penalty before Ozco, who made is Spain debut against Uruguay in midweek turned the game around with a 36th minute penalty and a winning goal two minutes after halftime.

Finally Deportivo la Coruna look doomed to relegation after suffering a 3-0 home defeat to fellow strugglers, Granada. All of the goals came in the second half with a Carlos Marchena own goal a minute after the break putting Granada ahead a minute after the break.

Jude Ighalo made it 2-0 just after the hour after Manuel Pablo had been sent off to leave Deportivo with a player less and Siquiera netted a late penalty to seal the win.
