MILAN, March 18 (Xinhua) -- AC Milan could be a serious Serie A title contenders for the next season, the club vice president Adriano Galliani said.

After losing five of their first eight League games of the campaign, the Diavolo have hit back by collecting 47 points from their next 21 matches.

"Our incredible run of form is continuing," Galliani stated after the 2-0 win over Palermo on Sunday.

"We have a good squad and if we start well next term then we'll be fighting for the title. We've been showing that we can compete for the past 21 games," he said. "The team is in good form and they've reacted well after the Champions League defeat to Barcelona in the week."
