体坛英语新闻：Norwegian Elyounoussi joins German side Hoffenheim

BERLIN, June 17 (Xinhua) -- Norwegian international of Moroccan descent Tarik Elyounoussi moved from Rosenborg to Hoffenheim until 2017, the clubs announced on Monday.

The striker scored since 2005 overall 49 goals in 149 appearances in Norway. In 2013 he made twelve goals in 22 games to lead the list of the goal scorer in the Norwegian professional league, the Tippeligaen.

The 25-year-old new arrival is since 2008 part of the Norway national soccer team to score six goals in 21 caps.

"Tarik is technically gifted and offensively versatile. He fits in our style of play and we are glad that we were able get him interested in Hoffenheim," Hoffenheim's director of professional soccer Alexander Rosen said.

Hoffenheim secured another season in German Bundesliga following two relegation playoff matches against Kaiserslautern.
