LONDON, June 26 (Xinhua) -- Ninth seed and former world No. 1 Caroline Wozniacki crashed out of Wimbledon as she was beaten 6-2, 6-2 by qualifier Petra Cetkovska in the second round on Wednesday.
The 28-year-old Czech, who had lost their two previous meetings in straight sets, looked comfortably the better equipped to reach the third round although a knee injury has left her to slip to 196 in the world rankings.
Wozniacki admitted that an ankle injury had affected her performance.
"When you can't play 100 per cent it's difficult. What I am most concerned about right now is to get fit again so I can compete on a high level."
