BERLIN, Sept. 1 (Xinhua) -- Dortmund wrapped up the fourth win in as many games thanks to Henrikh Mkhitarayan's brace meanwhile Vedad Ibisevic donated a hat rick to hand Stuttgart an emphatic first win at the German fourth round soccer league on Sunday.

Juergen Klopp's men edged Frankfurt 2-1 in a see saw match due to two goals by Mkhitarayan. Thus, Dortmund extends their winning streak to four matches to remain the only unbeaten team in the league.

The "BVB" caught a perfect start as their most expensive new signing of the club history, Henrikh Mkhitarayan, opened the scoring with just ten minutes on the clock. The Armenian international utilized a through ball by Jakub Blaszczykowski to beat Frankfurt goalkeeper Kevin Trapp with a one timer from inside the box.

Frankfurt remained unfazed by the early deficit but yet they needed 25 minutes to restore parity as Frankfurt new signing Vaclav Kadlec made use of a rebound from close range.

Both sides lurked for the winner but Mkitarayan's solo run and goal from 16 meters made the game safe as Frankfurt's efforts to level the score remained fruitless.

"I think we deserved a draw. We played a good game but now we stand there without points, that bothers me as a coach," Frankfurt coach Armin Veh said.

Elsewhere, Stuttgart stopped their negative run of three consecutive defeats to grab the first points of the season at the Bundesliga debut of new coach Thomas Schneider. Hoffenheim were unable to stop the 6-2 away beating in front of 42,450 spectators at the Mercedes Benz Arena.

From the kick off the hosts kept things firmly in their hands as Antonio Ruediger broke the deadlock with just 12 minutes into the game, when he slotted home from seven meters following square pass by Alexandru Maxim.

The visitors were unable to gain a foothold into the match, and for that reason Stuttgart doubled the lead through Vedad Ibisevic, who headed home from six meters at the 19th minute. Hoffenheim showed a vital sign when they reduced the lead to 2-1 through Kevin Volland seven minutes later.

However, Stuttgart's Alexandru Maxim annihilated Hoffenheim's hope of comeback when he restored their advantage to make it 3-1 on the scoreboards at the 28th minute.

The hosts were not done with the scoring therefore they started where they left off when Ibisevic sealed his brace to extend the lead, two minutes into the second half. Maxim also marked his second goal of the day as he curled home from 15 meters into the far post corner.

Hoffenheim were unable to put up some resistance as Ibisevic reaped his hat rick following a header at the 64th minute. The visitors managed to reduced the lead to 6-2 through Roberto Firminio three minute before the final whistle.

The Bundesliga takes a break for two weeks owing to the 2014 World Cup qualifiers.
