MONZA, Italy, Sept. 8 (Xinhua) -- Sebastian Vettel extended his championship lead over Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso after winning the Italian Grand Prix on Sunday.
Alonso finished behind the German rider and Vettel's Red Bull teammate Mark Webber was third.
It was Vettel's third career win at Monza, his sixth of the season and 32nd overall.
