体坛英语新闻:Former Bucks star Michael Redd to retire

WASHINGTON, Nov. 5 (Xinhua) -- Former Milwaukee Bucks shooting guard Michael Redd planned to anounce his retirement on Wednesday, released the Bucks on Sunday.
The announcement would take place when the Bucks hosts Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday.
Redd had played 11 of his 12 NBA seasons in Milwaukee. He averaged 20.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists.
Redd, who totaled 11,972 points in his career, was the fourth leading scorer in Bucks history. He was a member of 2003 All-Star team, and helped the U.S. national team to win gold at the Beijing Olympics in 2008.
