体坛英语新闻:Former US swimming team coach Mitch Ivey banned for life

WASHINGTON, Nov. 25 (Xinhua) -- Former United States Olympic team coach Mitch Ivey was banned for life by the USA Swimming, according to Swimming World Monday.
USA Swimming concluded its investigation into allegations of improper sexual relations by Ivey and decided to ban him for life.
Ivey, teammate of Mark Spitz at the 1968 and 1972 Olympic Games in Mexico and Munich, has been investigated by the USA Swimming's Safe Sport Division since 2011.
Ivey has until December 21 to appeal.
