ROME, April 2 (Xinhua) -- Roma beat Parma 4-2 in a rescheduled Serie A game at home on Wednesday to cut Juventus' lead to eight points.

Parma suffered their third defeat in a row following an unbeaten run of 16 games as they could not contain the inspired Roma players.

The game started with eight minutes on the clock, where the original clash was abandoned two months ago due to waterlogged pitch, and the hosts were 2-1 up after only eight minutes.

Roma struck first in the 12th minute after Destro's right-footed shot hit the post, where the awaiting Gervinho pounced to tap in the rebound.

Roma continued to attack and were again rewarded in the 82nd minute when Rodrigo Taddei got his head to substitute Alessandro Florenzi's cross and nodded past Mirante.

Parma scored seconds from time when Amauri spotted Biabiany on the edge of the area and the Frenchman's right-footed shot beat De Sanctis.
