体坛英语新闻：Myanmar U-19 team to play tune-up matches in Europe

YANGON, June 11 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar U-19 football team will go on trips to Europe for training ahead of the AFC U-19 Championships to be hosted by Myanmar, according to Myanmar Football Federation Wednesday.

Myanmar team will receive three-week training and play tune-up matches in Germany and England. They will leave here on June 29.

The team made up with 27 players is under intensive training at the camp as of early April this year.

In early May, the Myanmar team played Indonesia U-19 in tune-up matches in Indonesia, with one win and one draw.

The AFC U-19 Championship will be held in Yangon and Nay Pyi Taw from Oct. 9-23.

Host Myanmar was pooled in group A together with Yemen, Thailand and Iran.
