体坛英语新闻：Djokovic wins after injury scare at Wimbledon

LONDON, June 27 (Xinhua) -- Top seed Novak Djokovic moved into the fourth round of the men's singles with a comfortable 6-4, 6-2, 6-4 defeat of Frenchman Gilles Simon here at the Wimbledon on Friday.

Serbia's Djokovic suffered an injury scare in the third set when he landed awkwardly on his left shoulder but was largely untroubled.

The world number two will play 14th seed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga next after the Frenchman beat Jimmy Wang from Chinese Taipei 6-2, 6-2, 7-5.

"It was obviously a scary fall," said six-time Grand Slam champion Djokovic. "Luckily for me it only had a minor effect on the joint and the muscles around it and caused no significant damage. It's looking good."

Djokovic has the weekend to recover before playing Tsonga, whom he has beaten eight matches in a row.

"Tsonga's a great grass-court player, he loves the energy of the big stadium and it is going to be a big challenge for both of us," said Djokovic.

Elsewhere, Croatia's Marin Cilic upset sixth seed Tomas Berdych in straight sets.

South Africa's Kevin Anderson beat 16th seed Fabio Fognini in five sets. The 20th seed won 4-6, 6-4, 2-6, 6-2, 6-1 and will play Britain's Andy Murray in the fourth round.

Bulgaria's Grigor Dimitrov, seeded 11th, came back to beat Alexandr Dolgopolov 6-7 (7-3), 6-4, 2-6, 6-4, 6-1 and will play Leonardo Mayer of Argentina, who beat Andrey Kuznetsov 6-4, 7-6 (7- 1), 6-3.
