LISBON, Sept. 23 (Xinhua) -- Fernando Santos took the helm of the Portuguese soccer team on Tuesday, replacing Portuguese compatriot Paulo Bento.
Santos had taken Greece to the 2012 European Championship quarter-finals and the 2014 World Cup round of 16.
