体坛英语新闻：Hudson's triple-double leads Liaoning to fifth straight win

BEIJING, Nov. 12 (Xinhua) -- Lester Hudson had 41 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists to help Liaoning Hengye edge Xinjiang Guanghui 112-111 to remain as the only undefeated team in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league on Wednesday.

Hudson, the 2013-2014 CBA regular season's foreign MVP, led Xinjiang Guanghui to finish runner-up last season. However,the 28-year-old showed no mercy to his former side not only by scoring 41 points, but also had a vital steal from Jordan Crawford in the final seconds to seal the victory.

He Tianju added 27 points to Liaoning, including 5 of 8 from beyond the arc. Han Dejun scored 14 points and 11 rebounds, he made one free throw with 16 seconds remaining to give Liaoning a lead with 112-111.

Xinjiang led by as many as 20 points in the second quarter, but they blew away the advantage because of the poor defence. The Warriors player Jordan Crawford had 49 points and Andray Blatche finished with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists.

Defending champion Beijing Ducks overwhelmed Shanghai Sharks with a 119-94 victory. Beijing had six players in double figures, but Stephon Marbury only made 5 points. Michael Beasley, who was selected 2nd overall in the 2008 NBA Draft, had 25 points and 9 rebounds for winless Shanghai.

Metta World Peace scored 22 poins to give Sichuan Jinqiang a 99-88 win over Jiangsu Dragons.

In Wednesday's other matches, Dongguan Marco Polo beat Foshan Long lions 113-94 while Jilin Northeast Tigers edged Zhejiang Guangsha 105-104. Chongqing Flying Dragon defeated Jiangsu Tongxi 96-83 and Tianjin Ronggang lost to Shanxi Fenjiu 108-118. Shangdong Highways snapped Zhejiang Chouzhou 128-116, Guangdong Hongyuan coursed Fujian SBS 114-105, Bayi Fubang was beaten 94-110 by Qingdao Doublestars.
