BEIJING, Dec. 12 (Xinhua) -- After recording a 111-109 win, Qingdao became the first team to have beaten leaders Liaoning in 2014-15 Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league on Friday, snapping the latter's 17-game winning streak, best in their franchise history.

Qingdao's foreign trio, Justin Dentmon, Michael Harris and Hamed Ehadadi, combined for 73 points.

Qingdao's Luo Xudong hit a jumper to put his team ahead 111-109 with 4.3 seconds to go, while Liaoning still had the chance to drag the game into overtime, as their pillar post player Han Dejun was fouled by his counterpart Hamed Ehadadi with 1.1 seconds remaining.

However, Han missed the first free throw. As he tried to get a rebound from the second intentional missed shot, Hamed Ehadadi tipped the ball away from the post to secure the win.

"The first half was to blame for the loss, when we had poor defense and didn't concentrate a lot," said Guo Shiqiang, Liaoning's head coach.

Lester Hudson, last season's MVP, finished with game-high 44 points, 13 rebounds and eight steals for Liaoning. Han Dejun added 26.

Thanks to five players' double-digit points, runner-up Guangdong welcomed their 7th straight win after crushing over Zhejiang 133-116.

Yi Jianlian led Guangdong players with 32 points. Will Bynum and Chris Daniels helped with 25 and 17 points respectively.

After trailing by 36-35 as the first quarter ran out, Guangdong made a strong comeback midway through the second period, as Bynum's three-pointers gave them a double-figure margin.

In other matches, Shanxi beat Foshan 117-100, Bayi lost to Shanghai 100-88, Sichuan upset Chongqing 109-99, Xinjiang downed Fujian 122-105, Dongguan uppered Guangsha 125-113, Tianjin lost to Shandong 118-93, Jiangsu lost to Beijing 106-93, and Tongxi edged Jilin 108-106.
