体坛英语新闻：European weightlifting championship kicks off in Tbilisi

TBILISI, April 11 (Xinhua) -- 2015 European Weightlifting Championship kicked off in Georgian capital of Tbilisi on Saturday.
Turkish women weightlifter Sibel Ozkan Konak won the 48kg gold medal and Moldova Oleg Sirghi won men's 56kg gold medal in the first day competition.
A total of 232 athletes, including 96 females and 136 males, from 38 countries will compete for medals during April 11 to 18.
