体坛英语新闻:Timberwolves agree on deal with Tayshaun Prince
WASHINGTON, Aug.14 (Xinhua) -- The Minnesota Timberwolves have agreed to sign forward Tayshaun Prince to a one-year deal paying the veteran's minimum, local media reported.
Prince, the 13-year NBA veteran, averaged a career 11.8 points and 4.5 rebounds and he won the 2004 NBA Finals championship with the Detroit Pistons.
He averaged 7.5 points in 58 games last season for the Pistons, Grizzlies and Celtics. It was believed that the 35-year-old Prince would add a veteran experience along with Kevin Garnett to a very young Timberwolves squad, which includes the top pick in each of the past three drafts: power forward Anthony Bennett (2013), small forward Andrew Wiggins (2014) and center Karl-Anthony Towns (2015).
