体坛英语新闻：Bolivia practice tactics ahead of Venezuela match

LA PAZ, Nov. 4 (Xinhua) -- Bolivia's national soccer team began practicing tactics and offensive plays on Wednesday ahead of their home-match against Venezuela in the Hernando Siles Stadium, La Paz on Thursday November 12 for the third date of the World Cup Russia 2018 South America qualifiers.

Bolivia's coach Julio Cesar Baldivieso told local media that he needs to adjust his team's layout to include the players that matter but with the dynamic of always being on the attack.?

On Wednesday he began to try out a midfield which includes Jaime Arrascaita on the right and Damian Lizio on the left. The coach needs to replace Jhasmani Campos and Raul Castro who will miss the next match and for that reason seems to be opting for a 4-4-2 formation.?

The coach praised the training of the younger players for forming part of the team and showing motivation even though they have not always had opportunities in past tournaments to participate.?

"Wearing your country's shirt is not something that happens everyday and I understand that some footballers were not called upon for the Copa America tournament earlier this year but this has made them even more keen to form part of the team," said Baldivieso.?

Although the coach has already picked out his team list for the match, changes could occur as the Baldivieso awaits the arrival of some of the more experienced players.?

It is also thought that striker Rodrigo Ramallo could return from injury just in time to take to the pitch on Thursday. ?

Bolivia's international motorcyclist Juan Carlos 'Chavo' Salvatierra spoke to the players on Wednesday morning to motivate them.?

This was just one of the motivational events lined up for the team ahead of their South America World Cup qualifiers against Venezuela (November 12) and Paraguay (November 17).
