NEW YORK, Nov. 16 (Xinhua) -- Marcus Smart had a career-high 26 points to help the visiting Boston Celtics defeat the Oklahoma City Thunder 100-85 on Sunday.

Smart, who starred collegiately at nearby Oklahoma State, hit 9-of-14 field goals and 3-of-5 from behind the arc to go along with eight rebounds, steering the Celtics to their first win in Oklahoma City since November 7, 2010.

Isaiah Thomas netted 20, Avery Bradley had 14 and Jared Sullinger grabbed 15 rebounds as Boston (5-4) outscored its hosts 55-33 after halftime, including 28-11 in the final frame for its fourth win in five games.

Russell Westbrook scored 27 points on an icey 5-of-20 shooting, while Serge Ibaka added 16 with 10 rebounds for the Thunder (6-4), whose three-game winning streak was stopped after being held to a season-low output on just 36 percent floor shooting.

Oklahoma City widened a 52-45 halftime advantage to 11 early in the third quarter but it wouldn't last. Instead, Boston rallied to take the lead 74-72 heading into the final quarter. The Celtics started the fourth quarter on a 17-2 run to take control.

The New York Knicks beat the visiting New Orleans Pelicans 95-87 as CarmeloAnthony had 29 points along with a season-high 13 rebounds, and seldom-used Frenchman Kevin Seraphin netted 12 in just 14 minutes, helping the Knicks (5-6) stop a modest two-game slide.

Anthony Davis had 36 points with 11 rebounds after missing the last two games with a bruised right hip, but New Orleans (1-9) dropped its third straight and fell to 0-6 on the road.

Sacramento Kings held off the visiting Toronto Raptors 107-101. DeMarcus Cousins had 36 points with 10 rebounds while Rudy Gay netted 27. The Kings (4-7) rallied from 10 down in the fourth quarter to grab their third consecutive victory.

DeMar DeRozan topped Toronto (7-4) with 24 points and Kyle Lowry added 22, with six triples.

Charlotte Hornets outplayed Portland Trail Blazers 106-94. Frenchman Nicolas Batum scored 33 points and Al Jefferson added 29 as the Hornets (5-6) held off the visiters.

Damian Lilliard tallied 23 for Portland (4-7), which rallied from 29 down in the third quarter to four with 2:58 remaining before falling for the fifth straight time.

The LA Lakers overtook Detroit 97-85. Kobe Bryant had 17 points, eight rebounds and nine assists, helping the Lakers (2-8) snap a four-game losing streak, with their first win at home after dropping the travel-weary Pistons.

Andre Drummond had 17 points with as many rebounds as Detroit (5-5) ended a six-game road trip with its fourth straight loss after getting outscored 31-19 in the fourth quarter.

In other games, the visiting Utah Jazz stopped a three-game slide with a?97-96 victory over the Atlanta Hawks and the visiting Memphis Grizzlies trimmed the Minnesota Timberwolves 114-106.
