体坛英语新闻：Hebei China Fortuna eye Brazil midfielder Elias

RIO DE JANEIRO, Dec. 24 (Xinhua) -- Corinthians could sell Brazil international midfielder Elias to China's Hebei China Fortuna in the coming weeks, the Brazilian club said on Thursday.

Fortuna, who recently won promotion to China's top flight, are prepared to pay up to 10 million US dollars to sign the 30-year-old, according to media reports.

"Corinthians haven't received an offer for Elias but when Chinese clubs want a player, the values offered are so high that there is no way to keep them," Corinthians football manager Andres Sanchez told ESPN Brasil.

Elias is said to have been offered a salary of around 350,000 US dollars a month.

His departure would be a double blow for Corinthians' squad after the departure of midfielder Jadson to China's Tianjin Songjiang earlier this month.

The 2015 Brazilian Serie A champions have also reportedly received an offer for striker Vagner Love from an unnamed Chinese club.
