体坛英语新闻:Chinese star figure skater Jin leads short program at national championships
CHANGCHUN, Feb. 23 (Xinhua) -- Chinese figure skating star Jin Boyang showed some of his strength here at the national championships here on Saturday, leading the men's short program with ease.
Jin, who just took a silver at the Four Continents Figure Skating Championships this month, led the short program with 84.99 points. Zhang He of team Beijing was second in a distant 72.50 points. Li Huanfeng from team Heilongjiang was third with 64.73.
"I am quite relaxed," said Jin, who finished fouth at the Pyeongchang Games and are busy preparing for the upcoming world championships in March. "It is a test before the world championships. I will fix my problem before next competition."
"I've been practise this program for a year, and I hope I can perform my best at the worlds," added Jin from team Heilongjiang.
In the pairs short program, Peng Cheng/Jin Yang, who took a bronze at the Four Continents, led with 79.44 points. Wang Xuehan/Wang Lei was second in 63.62. Harbin's Tang Feiyao/Yang Yongchao came third in 61.90.
Beijing's An Xiangyi led the lady's short program in 64.56, her teammate Chen Hongyi and Zhang Yixuan came second and third respectively.
Also on Saturday, Heilongjiang's Chen Hong/Sun Zhuoming led the short dance in 69.42.
The national championships run from Feb. 23 to 24.
