国际英语新闻：Abbas accepts principle of land exchange with Israel

Abbas added that the Palestinian side "will answer these questions in coordination with our Arab brothers, because when we decided to go for the proximity talks, we decided upon their recommendations."

Meanwhile, Abbas told the members of the "From home to home" campaign of boycotting the Israeli settlements' products that "In all cases, consuming products produced by settlements built on the Palestinian lands is not allowed."

"Boycotting the settlements' products doesn't mean boycotting Israel, because the Palestinian (National) Authorities still have commercial ties with Israel," said Abbas, who asked not to mix between the two issues.

He added that the PNA "doesn't incite against Israel, we don't want to incite against it and we don't want to boycott products that come from Israel, because according to the signed treaties, we import many products from Israel."

"We import many things from Israel, mainly products with a cost of 3 billion U.S. dollars every year," said Abbas, who referred to his decree he issued to boycott products that only come from the Israeli settlements in the West Bank

During the meeting with the representatives of the campaign, Abbas signed on what is called "the Oath of Dignity" which urges the population not to purchase products made in Israeli settlements.

Abbas had then put a sticker that says "this house is clear of settlements products."
