国际英语新闻:Nicaragua arrests FBI's most wanted
MANAGUA, April 22 (Xinhua) -- Nicaraguan police have arrested Eric Justin Toth, an American on the most wanted list of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for alleged child pornography charges, police said Monday.
Toth, a former school teacher and camp counselor in the United States, was arrested over the weekend in the northern city of Esteli, police said.
The U.S. is in the process of extraditing him, said a U.S. federal law enforcement source.
Toth, 31, allegedly had a camera with pornographic images in it and had produced child pornography in Maryland, according to the U. S. federal police agency.
The FBI described Toth as being a computer expert and able to integrate easily into socio-economic groups.
He has been on the run since 2008 when arrest warrants were issued against him.
