PARIS, July 14 (Xinhua) -- The two French journalists reported missing since June were alive, Defense Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian said Sunday.
In an interview with the local broadcaster Europe1, Le Drian unveiled that "... all the pieces of information lead us to believe that they are alive."
"We are doing everything possible to ensure that they are freed soon," he added.
In June, Europe 1 radio correspondent Didier Francois and freelance photographer Edouard Elias were abducted while they were en route to Aleppo in Syria.
