国际英语新闻:Greece returns to normality with solid steps, targets fair growth: PM
ATHENS, June 29 (Xinhua) -- Greece is gradually untangling from chronic recession and creates the conditions to return to normality with solid steps, Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras said on Thursday while addressing an economic forum in Athens.
Uncertainty receded following the recent conclusion of the second review of the third Greek bailout, and Greece heads to the return to international bond markets, the exit from bailout programs and fair growth, said Tsipras.
A sustainable growth model for Greece cannot be based on austerity, he stressed, noting that the government focuses instead on the vision of fair growth.
The PM reiterated Athens' commitment to reforms to boost the comparative advantages of the Greek economy to achieve the target of fair growth.
Moreover, Tsipras called on investors to seize the opportunities Greece has to offer, invest and support the country's efforts to rebuild and achieve progress.
