国际英语新闻:Sudan extends condolences to Ethiopia over plane crash
KHARTOUM, March 11 (Xinhua) -- The Sudanese government on Monday extended condolences to Ethiopia over the crash of an Ethiopian plane.
"Sudan's Ministry of foreign affairs extends the sincere condolences of Sudan government and people to brotherly Ethiopia over the crash incident of the Ethiopian Airlines plane," said Sudan's foreign ministry in a statement.
"The ministry also extends its condolences to the families, friends, countries and peoples of the victims," the statement added.
The ministry also voiced Sudan's full solidarity with Ethiopia during the difficult times.
An Ethiopian Airlines plane, Boeing 737, crashed on Sunday, shortly after taking off from Addis Ababa airport en route to the Kenyan capital of Nairobi, killing all 157 aboard.
