国际英语新闻:Myanmar reports 136 new COVID-19 cases, 4 more deaths
YANGON, Sept. 13 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar reported four more COVID-19 deaths on Sunday, bringing the death toll in the country to 20 in total, according to a release from the Health and Sports Ministry.
According to the release, a 75-year-old man, a 90-year-old woman, a 74-year-old woman and a 90-year-old woman with underlying diseases recently tested positive for COVID-19, died on Saturday and Sunday.
A total of 136 more COVID-19 confirmed cases were reported on Sunday night in the country, totaling the number of cases to 2,932 so far, the ministry's figures showed.
According to the figures, 699 patients have recovered from the disease so far.
Myanmar reported its first two positive cases of COVID-19 on March 23.
