国际英语新闻:Myanmar reports 1,108 new COVID-19 cases, 29 more deaths

YANGON, Dec. 6 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar reported 1,108 more COVID-19 cases on Sunday, bringing the tally in the country to 99,155, according to a statement from the Ministry of Health and Sports.
A total of 29 more COVID-19 deaths were reported on Sunday, taking the death toll to 2,110 in total, the statement said.
According to the ministry's figures, 77,636 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.
A total of 1,288,365 samples have been tested for COVID-19 so far, the ministry's figures showed.
Myanmar reported its first two positive cases of COVID-19 on March 23.
