欧美文化:Tunisian president congratulates Macron on re-election victory

TUNIS, April 26 (Xinhua) -- Tunisian President Kais Saied on Tuesday congratulated his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron on re-election victory, pledging to enhance cooperation between the two countries.
In his congratulatory message to Macron, Saied hailed the solidity and cooperative ties between Tunisia and France, the Tunisian presidency said in a statement.
Saied also expressed to the French president his satisfaction with the "permanent consultation and the strategic and fruitful partnership between Tunisia and France."
The Tunisian president affirmed his determination to further strengthen and diversy the bilateral cooperation.
On Sunday, Macron won the 2022 French presidential runoff with 58.54 percent of the votes.
