父亲节与母亲节相形见绌

Father's Day, a day to honor fathers and fatherhood, is celebrated on the third Sunday of June and this year it falls on June 19th. The special day allows people to show their love and affection for their fathers.
父亲节是一个向父亲和父爱表达敬意的日子，定在六月份第三个星期天，今年它是在6月19日。这个特殊的节日可以让人们向父亲表达爱和情感。

However, Father's Day in China is not enjoying the same level of attention as Mother's day. Shopping malls have shown little enthusiasm about Father's Day, compared with the fierce promotion campaigns for Mother's Day.
然而，在中国，父亲节不像母亲节一样受到同等水平的关注。和母亲节激烈的宣传活动相比，购物中心对父亲节表现出很淡的热情。

Sociologists say Father's Day is dwarfed by Mother's Day partly because Chinese fathers are usually strict and communicate with their children less than mothers. Another factor is that mothers play a more significant role in nurturing children, so their children usually feel closer to their mothers.
社会学家表示，母亲节使父亲节相形见绌，部分原因在于中国父亲通常对孩子很严格，跟孩子的沟通比母亲少。另一个因素是母亲在养育孩子中起着更重要的作用，所以他们的孩子跟母亲的关系更亲密一些。
