ECFA提振台湾经济

Wednesday marks the first anniversary of the signing of the Economic Cooperation Framework Agreement, better known as ECFA, between the Chinese mainland and Taiwan.
星期三是中国大陆和台湾签署的《海峡两岸经济合作框架协议》签订一周年纪念日，该协议就是人们所熟知的ECFA。

Taiwan authorities say the island's development, job opportunities and competitiveness have been boosted by the agreement. They point to the Early Harvest Program as an example.
台湾当局表示，该协议促进了台湾的发展，就业机会的增加和竞争力的增强。他们提出早期收获项目作为例子。

During the first 5 months of this year, exports to the Mainland of Taiwan's agriculture products listed in the program jumped more than 5 times. A survey by the Taiwan authorities finds that over 60 percent of local residents are satisfied with ECFA, and many hold a positive attitude towards cross-strait relations.
