2012年春运大关逼近

The 2012 Spring Festival travel season hasn't started yet, but train stations in Shanghai, Urumqi, and Dalian are getting ready for the inevitable rush. In China, the travel season usually begins 15 days before the Spring Festival and lasts for around 40 days.
2012年的春运还没开始，但是上海、乌鲁木齐、大连的火车站已经为惯常的大繁忙做好准备。在中国，春运通常是在春节的前15天开始，持续40天左右。

Shanghai Railway Station, where the first temporary additional trains for Spring Festival travel season have started running.
在上海火车站，为春运临时增加的第一列火车已经开始运行。

At Urumqi Railway Station, and the last added train of this year runs before Spring Festival travel rush.

To cope with the coming Spring Festival travel season, Dalian Railway Station has opened up a telephone booking service for tickets.

In just one and half hours, more than four thousand tickets have been sold. That’s ten percent of the day’s total.

The station has opened 48 ticket windows, ready for the coming rush.
