公众力量加入环保的法律服务

A joint press briefing has been held to announce the development of environmental legal services in China. Representatives from the All-China Environment Federation (ACEF) and UN Development Program attended the meeting. They introduced their cooperative project to encourage more social forces to maintain public environmental rights.
中国举行了一个联合新闻发布会，公布中国环境法律服务的的发展。中华环保联合会和联合国开发计划署的代表参加了会议。他们介绍了他们鼓励更多社会力量维护公众环境权利的合作项目。

For thirty years, environmental degradation has been one of the most unfortunate bi-products of China’s tremendous economic growth. Increasing concerns over environmental damage has become a key consideration within central and local government planning.
30年来，环境恶化一直是中国经济巨大发展最令人遗憾的双重产物之一。增加对环境破坏的担忧成为中央和地方政府计划中一项重点考虑的事。

Zeng Xiaodong, Sec. General of ACEF, said, "In recent years, the environmental protection has made big progress with the government’s support. But the environmental problem is always serious and has severely affected people’s daily life."
中华环保联合会秘书长曾晓东表示：“最近几年，有了政府的支持，环境保护取得巨大的进步。但是环境问题一直很严峻，严重影响人们的日常生活。”

Last month, the cadmium contamination in a river in south China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region caused nationwide concern. The local drinking water security was seriously threatened and the fishermen suffered great economic loss. The State Environment Department and ACEF sent investigators to Guangxi to prepare for an environmental public interest lawsuit to compensate all sufferers. With the help of the cooperative project with UNDP, the ACEF is participating in more and more environmental rights services.
上个月，中国南方广西壮族自治区一条河流的镉污染引起了全国的关注。当地饮用水安全受到严重威胁，渔民蒙受巨大的经济损失。国家环保局和中华环保联合会派遣调查人员前往广西，准备一场环境公益诉讼，为所有受害者索赔。在与联合国开发计划署合作项目的帮助下，中华环保联合会参与的环境权益服务越来越多。

In 2011, many NGOs participated in environmental legal services, something they were legally unqualified for in the past. Last year the ACEF was involved in 15 lawsuits and won 6 of them.
2011年，许多非政府组织参加了环境法律服务，过去，他们在法律上是没资格参加这些的。去年，中华环保联合会参与了15起诉讼，其中6起胜诉。
