英国游客在中国因性骚扰被拘留

A British citizen in Beijing is being investigated over allegations he assaulted a Chinese woman. Videos claiming to show the assault in downtown Beijing have gone viral on the Internet.

The man is in China on a tourist visa. He was detained by local police last Tuesday, after passers-by interrupted him in the act of allegedly attacking a young woman.

Police said the man was "drunk ", and he has been detained and is under investigation according to the law. The incident, which was captured on video and posted on the internet, has prompted calls for justice to be served.
