中国国际软件博览会开幕

Cutting-edge internet technology is the talk of the town in Beijing at the moment, with the 16th China International Software Expo getting underway on Thursday.

The event aims to further develop the IT industry in China, and puts the spotlight on the latest internet developments, including cloud computing, and Mobile Internet technology. Around 600 companies are spread out across seven pavilions.

China's Ministry of Industry and IT says the government’s economic reforms currently underway will bring breakthroughs in the domestic software industry.
