德国要求更紧密的合作

German Chancellor Angela Merkel is insisting once again that Europe should tackle its debt crisis through closer fiscal and political integration.

Acknowledging that Germany, the eurozone’s largest economy is now in the spotlight, Merkel says her country has taken a leading role but does not have the resources to shoulder all the responsibility with regards to the crisis. Her comments come ahead of that G20 summit in Mexico where the debt woes in Europe is expected to take center stage

Angela Merkel, German Chancellor, said, "Germany is strong, (and) Germany is an engine of economic growth and an anchor of stability in Europe, but we also know that Germany’s strength is not unlimited."
