Liu Xiang was the first Chinese athlete to achieve the triple crown of athletics: World Record Holder, World Champion and Olympic Champion. He's not only a successful athlete, but also a cultural icon, and a colorful media personality.

At the 2004 Athens Olympics, Liu said he wants to prove to the world that Asians can run at the highest level, after he pocketed a gold medal in world record-equaling time. For the upcoming London Olympics, Liu and his team are gearing up to give their best shot in the competition ahead. He's just arrived in Germany to prepare for the Olympics and he’ll arrive in London in early August.
