November 22nd marks the 21st anniversary of the World Traditional Medicine Day. Established in 1991, representatives from 42 countries and regions met in Beijing to name the day.
The world market for Alternative Medicine is experiencing robust growth. This has been triggered by growing demand for nature-based products and a belief that herbal products cause minimal side effects when compared to modern medicines.
Traditional Chinese Medicine, Homeopathy, Acupuncture, Chiropractic Treatment, Massage, and Ayurveda are widely practised in Asian and African countries, and are gaining ground at a healthy rate in the developed world as well.
