中国迎来春季出行高峰

With the Spring Festival nearing, China’s transport network is bracing for a record number of passengers since the holiday rush started in late January.

Roads, railway stations and airpots saw more than 97-million trips on Wednesday. The Railway ministry has added 659 temporary trains, as more than six-million trips have been logged so far. Railways in Shanghai have seen more than 1-million passenger trips a day for six days in a row. Beijing’s Capital Airport saw more than 258,000 passengers board flights on Wedndesay, the highest in the past two weeks. Meanwhile, heavy fog in Sichuan Province has forced over 180 flights to be delayed, stranding more than 10-thousand passengers.
