免费帮助老年人做听力检查

Sunday is national Ear-care day in China. This year’s topic is caring for seniors’ hearing health. A project giving help for needy elderly people with hearing disabilities has been launched.

The project is funded by the government to the tune of 75 million yuan. Fifty thousand needy seniors who have hearing difficulties will be given free hearing-aids and other devices. According to a study in 2007, there are more than 20 million people with a hearing disability aged over 60.
